Our trusted host, Micah, a vital part of the podcast family, explained, "The goal of 'These Fukken Feelings Podcast©' has always been to break down human emotions in their most intricate forms. This season, we shift our focus to 'love', peeling back layers to shine light on its lesser-known aspects and debunk the myth that it's solely romantic."
This season goes beyond the spellbinding allure of romantic love to include self-love—subtle yet potent—community ties, and the enduring passion for goals and dreams. This exploration aims to reshape listener perceptions, demonstrating love's presence in all dimensions of life.
The podcast's enduring appeal lies in its unique blend of heart-touching storytelling and authentic dialogues, a characteristic charm set to continue with an added layer of diverse narratives and wisdom.

Micah, during the planning stages, coined the ongoing theme as the 'love space', explaining, "The 'love space' isn’t a physical or supernatural concept, but rather the emotional and mental capacity we reserve for love in all its variations. Our episodes seek to help listeners identify, explore, and expand their personal 'love spaces'."
In our digital age, Crystal insightfully said, "In times where communication is often digitized, our podcast aims to be a safe haven—a place where raw, unprocessed emotions are not only acknowledged but celebrated."

Incorporating mindfulness into your daily routine can help you stay grounded, reduce stress, and improve your overall mental health. Meditation practices can also provide enormous benefits; they can improve focus, provide mental clarity, and reduce anxiety.
Regular physical exercise is not only great for your physical health, but it can also do wonders for your mood and mental well-being. Exercise releases endorphins, the 'feel-good' hormones, which can alleviate symptoms of mild depression and anxiety.
Do not hesitate to seek professional help if you're struggling with your mental health. Whether it's a counselor, psychologist, or psychiatrist, these professionals are trained to help you navigate your feelings and develop coping strategies.
Surround yourself with positive and supportive people who make you feel valued. Good relationships with family, friends, and others can instill a sense of belonging and worth, which significantly contributes to mental well-being
WORKING TOGETHER
Avoid saying things like "That's not a big deal," or "You have so much to live for." Although these statements might be well-intentioned, they can come across as dismissive of the person's pain and struggles. It can make them feel like their problems are not being taken seriously, which can contribute to feelings of isolation.
Try not to use clichés like "Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem." While this is true, it often does not help the person in distress. They might already know this intellectually, but are still grappling with overwhelming emotions that a simple phrase won't alleviate.
Responses like "How could you think of something like that?" or "Suicide is selfish," can create a sense of judgment. This can make the person feel even more alone or misunderstood and discourage them from sharing their thoughts and feelings further.
Saying things like "You don’t really mean that," or "I don't believe you would do that," challenges the validity of their feelings and experiences. It may come across as if you're not taking their disclosure seriously, which can be detrimental when they are reaching out for support.
Instead of these types of responses, it’s important to offer non-judgmental support and actively listen. Let them know you care about them and are there to help. Encourage them to seek help from a mental health professional or to call a suicide prevention helpline immediately. Remaining calm, offering compassion, and urging them to talk to someone who can provide professional support are critical steps in helping someone who is dealing with suicidal thought
I love the way Micah and Rebecca run this podcast! It’s so much more than an interview with their guests. When you tune it to listen, it draws you in immediately and you truly feel you are included in an amazing experience you will learn so much from. That’s what good podcasts should feel like and they achieved it!

In our fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle, constantly moving from one task to the next without a moment's rest. But taking a deliberate pause can do wonders for your mental health. Set aside a few minutes each day to simply breathe and be present. This brief pause allows your mind to reset, reduces stress, and helps you regain focus. Remember, it's okay to take a step back and recharge. Your mental well-being deserves it.
In a quaint town where mountains kissed the sea, lived a spirited woman named Lily. Her laughter was infectious, but beneath her vibrant exterior lay a history marked by storms—loss, heartbreak, and illness. Despite the challenges, Lily was a fighter, believing deeply in the power of healing.
One day, standing by the edge of the sea, she inhaled the salty air, her inner turmoil mirroring the crashing waves. "How do I heal?" she whispered to the vast ocean. A gentle wave washed over her feet in response, retreating with a soothing whisper. In that moment, Lily realized that healing was not a destination but a journey, much like the ebb and flow of the sea.
Determined, Lily embraced her journey of healing. She allowed herself to feel deeply, to grieve, to break, and most importantly, to heal. She let go of past pains and made peace with her history, uncovering a resilience she never knew she had.
The path wasn't easy. There were days when the weight of her past felt overwhelming, when old scars threatened to resurface. But each time, she looked to the sea for inspiration—its vastness, its depth, its beauty even in the fiercest storms.
As time passed, Lily's laughter returned, brighter and more infectious than ever. She found joy in the smallest of things—the warmth of the sun, the bloom of a flower, the song of a bird. She discovered love and acceptance within herself, realizing that she held the key to her own healing.
Lily's story spread throughout the town, inspiring all who heard it. Her journey of healing became a beacon of hope for others facing their own storms. And though she had once asked the sea how to heal, Lily had now become the embodiment of that answer.
Lily's tale reminds us all that healing is a journey filled with highs and lows, pain and joy, tears and laughter. No matter how stormy life gets, like the waves, we too have the power to heal and emerge stronger and more beautiful than ever.
Remember, mental health is a journey, not a destination. It’s okay to have ups and downs, and it’s okay to take it one day at a time. You’re doing great, and we’re here for you every step of the way. 🎙️
Self-care is not just about bubble baths and spa days. It’s about taking time each day to do something that nourishes your mind, body, or spirit. This could be anything from reading a book, going for a walk, meditating, or even just taking a few moments to breathe deeply. Remember, self-care is not selfish; it’s necessary for maintaining good mental health.
Human beings are social creatures, and having strong, positive relationships in our lives is crucial for our mental health. Make an effort to stay connected with the people who matter to you. This could be through phone calls, video chats, or even just sending a text to let them know you’re thinking of them.
Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present in the moment, without judgment. It can help reduce stress, improve focus, and increase emotional resilience. Try incorporating mindfulness into your daily routine, perhaps by starting your day with a few minutes of mindful breathing or taking a mindful walk during your lunch break.
Physical activity is great for your mental health. It releases endorphins, the body’s natural mood boosters, and can help reduce feelings of anxiety and depression. Find a form of exercise that you enjoy and make it a regular part of your routine.
It’s okay to ask for help. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, reach out to a trusted friend, family member, or mental health professional. Remember, seeking help is not a sign of weakness; it’s a sign of strength.
